Checklist to isolate network, tenant/subscription, RBAC, and outage issues in Azure.

1) Check status

  • Check azure.status.microsoft.

2) Confirm tenant/subscription

  • In the portal, confirm you’re in the correct tenant and subscription.

3) Isolate the browser

  • Private window
  • Disable extensions
  • Clear cache/cookies

4) Permissions (RBAC)

  • Confirm assigned role (Owner/Contributor/Reader, etc.)
  • Corporate environments may enforce additional policies.

5) Region and quotas

  • Try another region.
  • Check quotas/limits.
